Federal First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA)
UPDATED: March 30, 2020 and Criteria for Return to Work for Employees with Confirmed Case of COVID-19. Below is a breakdown of each attachment:
COVID-19 SUT 23 – ALL EMPLOYEES: Families First Coronavirus Response Act
This is a mandatory stand-up talk (SUT) regarding taking leave during COVID-19. Effective April 1, 2020, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) provides employees with two additional types of leave. These new leave entitlements are in addition to leave you are already entitled to under the Employee and Labor Relations Manual (ELM) and any applicable Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs). The two new types of leave are Emergency Sick Leave (up to 80 hours) and Family Medical Leave Act Expansion.
FFCRA Poster
This is a poster explaining employee rights for paid sick leave and expanded FMLA under the FFCRA. The provisions apply from April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 and explain the following: Paid leave entitlements, eligible employees, and qualifying reasons. Note: Reasons 1-3 on the flyer are code 077-19 Emergency Sick Leave – Self and reasons 4-6 are code 081-19 Emergency Sick Leave – Other.

The FFCRA FAQ replaces the previous one dated 3/31/2020. If you have a copy of the previous FAQ dated 3/31/2020, please discard and replace it with the attached FAQ dated 4/14/2020.
