I started my career with the Postal Service in 2003 in Trinidad, CO. After our one officer resigned, I became Steward. We decided as a group to merge Trinidad with Pueblo and I served as Trinidad Steward until I moved to Pueblo. Upon my arrival in Pueblo, I became alternate Steward at Belmont Station where I served until my re-assignment to Sunset Station. In December, I was elected to the Recording Secretary position and am very proud to serve Pride City Branch 229 as well as the State Association.
I am married to Timothy, have 3 energetic sons (Nick, Pete and Alex), two cats (September and Spumoni) and two golden retrievers (Spencer and Sydney).
My greatest joys in life come from watching my boys grow, Christmas with my sister, brother-in-law and niece from New York and visiting at my folks' farm across the Mississippi River in northwestern Illinois.
My greatest joys in the job come from that awesome feeling of pride in hitting the street with the sacred responsibility of being entrusted with our customers' business and correspondence. Not to mention being in the great outdoors and staying active.
I intend to serve the NALC in whatever capacity I can and particularly enjoy the challenge of legislative and political activism
