My name is Ken Barber.  I started my postal career in November 1983, just after the big blizzard of that year.  The experience of learning to carry mail in all that cold and snow is one I will never forget.

I became a steward in 1985 and have been serving in that capacity ever since.  I have served as a trustee in my branch and am currently hold the office of treasurer.  I have also been on the state executive board on two previous occasions.

I am currently a delegate to the Denver Area Labor Federation. I was released in 2000 and 2008 campaigns representing the NALC.  I was also released this year to work on the Employee Free Choice Act.
