Mike Doherty is a proud member of Branch 47 in Denver.  Mike is a Colorado native, born and raised in east Denver.  Mike graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1985 with BA degrees in Journalism/Mass Communications and Speech Communications.

His postal career began in Dec. 1994. He became a string floater in May of 1996 and continues to carry the same string today. Mike currently serves as a shop steward at the University Park station, a position he has held since 2002.

Outside the post office, Mike is a huge sports fan of the Broncos, Nuggets and Avalanche. Mike is married with two teenagers and three dogs.

This is Mike's first term as an Executive Board member for the Colorado State Association.
