Doug Jaynes
Vice-President
Colorado State Association
of Letter Carriers

I have been with the Postal Service for 14 years.
Starting out as a Christmas casual at the GMF, I
then I became a T.E. clerk running the DPS
machines for 18 months. I had the chance to
become a carrier and have been ever since. I
started in Boulder, were I cut my teeth under the
leadership and training of Ray Tillman as a
steward. After five years I transferred to Greeley.
In Greeley I have served the branch in a variety of
roles, from steward to president. Working with
Chico Meza, Val Sewald, Leon Irvin, I did what
ever they asked of me. I am OWCP trained,
Safety trained, Food Drive trained, Customer
Connect trained, but always a GPA (that's general
pain in the ___ to management). Please call me
with your thoughts and questions and we will
figure it out.
