Cindy Kirby
NALC'er Editor
Colorado State Association
of Letter Carriers
My Letter Carrier carrier began in 1992 as a
TE in Englewood CO where I was a
member of Branch 5996.  I served as a TE
in Broomfield Branch 47 and a PTF in
Boulder Branch 642.  It was a wonderful
thing when I made regular in Broomfield in
1995 and I have been a proud member of
Branch 47 ever since.

What an adventure my union activities have
been.  From contract protection as steward
and alternate Step B to the legislative
political work as Congressional District
Liaison, the NALC always has work to do.  I
love writing especially for the state's
NALC'er and the Postal Record.  Many of
you know I am a political junky and can wait
to work on this year's campaign.

Somehow I manage to spend time with
family and friends.  My daughter and
granddaughter live much too far away in
Hawaii, but thank goodness for pictures.  I
have recently learned to love Texas Hold'em
so watch out at the next MDA fundraiser!
