Jeff Frey
Executive Board Member

of Letter Carriers
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio April 24, 1958, My Family
relocated to Tempe, AZ in 1965

Attended  High  School at Tempe Union High: 1972 -
1976
Mesa Community College : 1977-1978
Emily Griffith Technical College: 1985, 1988 - 1989

1978 - 1999  I entered the printing field learning how to
run a printing press and the day to day functions of a
store front  printing operation. Moving to Denver in 1980 I
was hired to Manage a  Quik Print franchise and have
Managed Several  retail print shop in the Denver area for
Signal Graphic Printing and Alphagraphics Printing.
I was hired on as a Letter Carrier by the PO in 1999 as a
PTF  at the North Peco’s Station, I  joined the NALC
when Branch 47 Gene Lafayette came to the new carrier
orientation down at the vehicle maintenance facility on
Logan and I -25. I attended the very next Branch 47
meeting. I have seen through the years the path the
Postal Service has been going down, I just can’t sit and
watch what is happening to our jobs, and will fight to
preserve carrier job’s. Coming from a retail printing
background I see a need for carriers to have a proactive
role in finding new area of revenue for the NALC / USPS
focusing on our package services and direct mail.
